Jimil is a recognized leader in AI infrastructure and data center thermal innovation, specializing in high-density liquid cooling and next-generation thermal architectures. He most recently served as Senior Director of Immersion Cooling at MARA Holdings, Inc., where he led the design and large-scale deployment of advanced liquid cooling systems supporting AI and high-performance computing workloads.
Prior to MARA, Dr. Shah was a Senior Staff Engineer at a stealth-mode startup, where he architected a state-of-the-art two-phase immersion cooling platform for hyperscale AI data centers, establishing new benchmarks in thermal efficiency, scalability, and operational reliability. Earlier in his career, he held
senior technical roles at TMGcore directing thermal science initiatives, and at 3M, where he helped drive industry adoption of liquid cooling technologies. Across his career, Dr. Shah has authored or co-authored more than 40 technical publications and filed over 35 patents (12 issued). He was honored with the ASME EPPD Student Engineer of the Year Award for his early contributions to the field.
A Senior Member of IEEE and an active contributor to ASHRAE TC9.9, ASME, and the Open Compute Project, Dr. Shah is widely recognized for translating complex thermofluid challenges into scalable, real-world infrastructure solutions. His work sits at the intersection of high-density compute, energy efficiency, and the evolving demands of the AI era.
